Product Details

The rain protection is made from high-quality rPEVA (recycled polyethylene-vinyl acetate), which combines durability with sustainability. This material is flexible, durable, and particularly robust—ideal for versatile outdoor use.

This rain poncho is suitable for numerous areas of use:
For example, at festivals, open-air concerts, sporting events, or as reliable rain protection during hikes, camping, or emergency situations.

The rain protection has a one-size-fits-all dimension of 127 x 100 cm (Model MILENA: 118 x 68 cm // Model ROBERT: 115 x 90 cm) and is made from robust rPEVA (recycled polyethylene-vinyl acetate). The rain protection weighs approximately 160 g (Model TINA: 110g // Model ROBERT: 145g) and is packaged in a resealable zip-lock bag (approx. 10 x 16.5 cm) made from recycled material. The bag contains an insert made from recycled paper that shows information on safety, material, disposal, and distributor/contact details. Optionally, the rain poncho The rain protection can also be packaged in a banderole made from recycled paper, which also lists the aforementioned product information.

The rain poncho The rain protection is usually packed in bundles of 100 pieces per carton (52 x 39 x 26 cm, 17 kg // Model ROBERT: 52 x 39 x 26 cm, 15 kg // Model TINA: 52 x 39 x 26 cm, 14 kg ) repackaged. All materials used are already recycled and can be returned to the recycling cycle after use.

Sustainability:
The rain protection is made from recycled PEVA, which is characterized by reduced environmental impact during production and disposal. The material is robust and durable, allowing for multiple uses.

Safety Assessment

The rPEVA material is flexible and robust, yet flammable and should be kept away from open flames. The special properties of PEVA make it safer than other plastics, as it contains no harmful phthalates. Nevertheless, safety guidelines should be observed.

  • Flammability: The material can burn or melt upon contact with fire, causing burns.
  • Choking hazard: Children could misuse the poncho and inhale the material.
  • Chemical exposure: PEVA contains no dangerous plasticizers but poses a low risk of allergic reactions.
